Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is a 24/7 Emergency Veterinary hospital on Buzzards Bay. CCVS is both an emergency and specialty hospital. Our specialists are board certified in Cardiology, Emergency & Critical Care, and Surgery.  Our Internal Medicine specialist is currently recognized as an ACVIM Candidate.  Being board certified, CCVS specialists have 12-13 years of education and training.

CCVS’ mission, as an emergency and critical care specialty hospital, is to treat life-threatening injury and disease in a setting utilizing an exceptional standard of medicine.  Our team of experienced emergency doctors work together with the guidance of our board certified criticalist to achieve this goal through first-rate diagnostics and timely, appropriate treatment.

The emergency doctors include emergency and critical care residents who are training, at CCVS, to become board certified criticalists.  Each of them is an experienced emergency doctor who trains through a combination of clinical practice and diligence in learning not only the diagnosis and treatment of disease, but physiology and the pathophysiology of disease.  The ECC residency brings additional depth and dimension to the emergency and critical care service at CCVS.
