Boston Veterinary Specialists is a Specialty Veterinary hospital in Dedham, MA. William B. Henry DVM and Catherine Briere DVM, MS are board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. BVS is not a university or non-profit teaching hospital, and does not train surgical residents to perform surgery on our patients. BVS's mission, as a specialty hospital, is to treat injury, away from home. BVS has a veterinary medical ward staff who practice exclusively surgery. BVS has state of the art monitoring equipment and surgical technicians who attend regular seminars. Boston Veterinary Specialists work as a team with your regular veterinarian. After your pet’s visit or hospitalization, the surgeon will compose a full report to send to your veterinarian, along with any lab results and treatment goals established. This way all of your pet’s patient history is available in one location. We do not offer routine care for your pet, as our practice provides specialty medicine. We feel that your regular veterinarian knows you and your pet best in regards to routine care.
