Dr. Jennifer Zilinski grew up in Vermont near the beautiful shores of Lake Champlain before eventually making her way down to Plymouth, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Bates College, a master’s degree in public health from Boston University, and her doctoral degree in veterinary medicine from Tufts University. Dr. Zilinski also completed a 13 month post-graduate small animal rotating internship at New England Animal Medical Center in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
Dr. Zilinski worked in small animal medicine for several years in Falmouth, MA before taking over as chief of staff at a feline-only hospital in Taunton, MA for seven years. She then led a mixed small animal practice in Mashpee before finding a perfect fit close to home with Buzzards Bay Veterinary Associates. One of the best parts of her job is working with clients and helping them find ways to keep their pets healthy through good preventative care and wellness. She has special interests in dentistry, feline care, and internal medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Zilinski is an avid alpine skier, and she will often be found at one of the many New England mountains on winter weekends. She also enjoys gym workouts, biking on the Cape Cod Canal, and spending time with her children, fiancé and pets, which includes two cats and three very active dogs.
